Application Cases in Practice

Across security and glass-metal production, the same principle applies: match the grade to the material and the process, and the bond stays fast, clean and durable. In security device assembly, a housing maker dispenses 3112 along the fixing area, joins the metal and painted parts and cures at 600 mJ/cm², so the line keeps moving while the high-strength bond, with excellent adhesion to glass, metal, plastic and painted surfaces, holds in the field. For security glass that must survive humid and wet conditions, 3117 is applied to the fixing area and cured at 800 mJ/cm²; because the cured bond resists water immersion and boiling water while maintaining excellent aging resistance, the finished assemblies keep their bond and transparency over a long service life.

In lighting production, a manufacturer molds LED light strings with 3118, which cures extremely fast at just 200 mJ/cm² and keeps the process clean thanks to its low-odor, non-irritating formulation, non-stringing flow and high-hardness, low-yellowing finish. For decorative glass, a fabricator working on glass table pillars and large glass edges relies on low-viscosity 3000, which flows evenly across the large bonding area and cures at 1500 mJ/cm² into a clear, flexible layer free of whitening and iridescent patterns. A glass cabinet and crafts maker instead chooses 3001, whose near 99% transparency and resistance to yellowing, whitening and delamination keep joints almost invisible even during long soaking, while a crystal and glass supplier uses 3013 to bond small decorative parts with high strength and good adhesion even on small areas, curing to a bond that does not whiten or peel.
